NO! That's a pull style clutch thing. LGT and 06+ WRX are push style.

You're probably missing force if it's never been separated. Don't forget the pitch stop (under the intercooler), shifter linkage and neutral & reverse switch wiring as well, since you didn't list that.

The locating pins are most likely stuck. I usually recommend pulling the motor for this reason, it's easier to apply force from above with everything out of the way.
