actually the story goes: wifey got a call from her friend at a vet saying they found this cute kitty on the side of the road that someone had tossed. it had a dead leg and they couldn't figure out why. they said they'd take it off if we took the cat. i told the vet we'd take her if i got a 25% discount on all services forward(why pay full when i only have 75% of a cat??). she agreed and doesn't charge office visits
and yes, that IS the jew in me
we already had lilo.
then the surgery...
we wanted to call luci 'Stitch' (get it? lilo and stitch??) but didn't want to give her a complex. and yes, i wanted to go with tripod. wifey said no.
anywho, after all that time learning how to manuever w/ the dead leg, she lost her equilibrium and kept face planting everywhere. we were laughing so hard, it was just like watching I Love Lucy marathons.. which is where we got the name
wifey is often cruel, though. she takes the feather sticky thing so luci swats at it with her right arm. then she does it to her left, and it looks like a little kid with its arm stuck in its shirt
otherwise, in a straightline race, luci literally is faster than both lilo AND lexi
