Yes, you can, when your HVAC controls are set to cool the heater core is bypassed anyway. If you'll never use the heater you can remove the circuit, but make sure you remove the internal ducting and heater core. Volume wise you lose about a gallon of water, and you will have to loop the heater core ports on the engine, just connect them together, or route them in and out of your turbo.
