Let's look at what Cobb does with an intake for example. You spend $200-$300 for an APS intake and it will yield a whopping 5HP after tuning. That money is best spent on stuff that will give you real HP. For $300 you can get a lightweight pulley AND some IC hoses which will yield around 15HP. An intake is really only needed if you are producing MAJOR HP and your money is best spent on better bang/buck mods. There are a few out there that shouldn't fool with your MAF sensor....Perrin, APS, Typhoon, TurboXS come to mind. Most manufacturers have fixed this problem in their current lineup though. It aint worth the money though in my opinion. Previous searches here tell me that the stocker is good for 300-400HP depending on who you talk to. Another case in point....Vishnu offers NO intakes for any of their stages.
