I think the concept behind this is with a bunch of grounds connected from the engine to the body or battery, will cause it to have less resistance between the engine and the body/battery. With the decrease in resistance the sensors and other electrical equipment attach to the engine will recieve more power due to the decrease in resistance. So with more free power the alternator does not need to work as hard, putting off some load off your engine.

But I don't think you'll feel any big difference.
