maybe i should specify cold + wet. then you absolutely have very little traction with them.
I drove in 5 inches of snow over the weekend in jersey, thought because I had AWD I would be good. Had no idea that they sold with summer tires, (purchased 18 wrx in November) and I was sliding all over the place. I slid out taking a turn < 20mph. It was fun but definitely dangerous.

Definitely get winter tires.
