On page one, the tach is red needle, aluminum colored needle center cap, and white lettering. On page two, the tach is red needle (same as before), red lettering (different) and black colored needle center cap (different).
Doh! I can handle painting my omori gauge faces red if indeed the lettering is read. If the backlighting is anything other than the light green the WRX currently has though I don't see how I could change that easily...
Edit: In my opinion the picture of the tach on page one looks sexier.

Every indication is that the US STi will have red gauges with the cool sweep up thingy when you start the car. If you look around this forum, you'll find a thread with official specs (a big deal because curb weight was listed, as well as full gear ratios). The shot on the first page of the microsite is of the Euro spec gauges. They're also LED all the way around, as I understand it, and the display blacks out when you turn the car off. Everything illuminates when you turn it on. Pretty trick, actually.
