Ran my EJ205 on #'s 1 & 2 above. It was @150,000 miles when I pulled it ( well, I had it pulled for an engine swap to something better ) and it was still running strong with solid compression @ 145 per cylinder



Now I just need to find a new home for my EJ205


So thicker oils run better, but you say that Subaru uses the thinner oils to increase gas mileage, will using the thicker oil worsen my mpg?
