And plenty of people blow up R160s with RSs. Just because a drag car made a full pass on one doesn't make it a good choice for a torquey daily driven car. How many do they go through in 10,000 miles?
$3500 plus $500 for the R160 conversion is $4000. That's $500 less than what I paid for an actual full swap, including all 4 hubs, axles, and Brembos. Add your flavor of aftermarket brakes and now you've spent more. In my eyes, it's worth it to just do the whole thing.
