O.K. I'll take a shot. How about weight reduction? I seem to recall another notable mentioning that weight reduction, especially in the front, can significantly help braking.

If so, some BBKs are much lighter than stock. If you could drop 40lbs from your brakes (I know, that's a lot but there are such claims of 10lbs/corner out there), you may dramatically impact your braking ability and attribute it to your new BBK and rightly so but for the wrong reason.

Just a thought. Anyone have any experience with this?
