Branded titles don't happen over minor issues.

Who cares about miles? Chassis' weaken and flex more and more the older they get and the more they get used.

Thats why your odometer is how many miles the chassis has, not how many miles are on the mechanicals.

Minor fender benders won't brand a title. Major structural damage, flood recovery, theft recovery. If the cost to repair is more than a percentage of the cars value, the title will get branded.
