Not that it gets that cold here in Phoenix but my 03 WRX has begun to have the raw gas smell problem after about 1 mile of driving on a cold (35F) morning. Problem goes away later in the day and I don't smell it at all driving home when it is 65-70F. Time to check some hoses and clamps.

Thanks to all who keep this site up and running. I've only had my bugeye a few months now and this place has helped immensely. Just about to turn 180K miles.
You won't be able to get to the problem clamps without removing the intake manifold which is a royal PITA on a car this old. Prepare to break plenty of hard lines, clips, etc.

On my wife's non-turbo Forester all clamps are fairly easy to get to.
