Well i got my lights installed today...had to do absolutely nothing but plug in the plugs/+ cable/- cable /12v controller and secure it all down...The Proxenon 6000k = 4300k but i love it, so the kelvin scale on their website is off accordingly...Found out that since i have wings i also have a generic d2s based bulb? which fits in the base of the solenoid and could make for cheaper "non-mcculloch/bohmen" bulb replacements(which i hope is never!)...the entire low beam pattern is bright, frickin awesome, i'm in love, but i have yet to really drive at night without street lights. So far no one has flashed me, yet if they did, a flick of my high beams would dramatically state "yes i had my low beams on" to an oncoming car. However the main "wing" brace phohibits the entire arc from striking the main high beam reflectors in the headlamp and the high's aren't a truly dramatic change as i had hoped. A lot of light is bounced off the side mirrors allowing the side trees and especially signs to reflect back however.

HID is truly a wonderful driving addition. I now know why new HID owners say "i can't believe i drove without them," it's so true. I laugh when i look at my h3 'piaa xtreme' halogens in the fogs, they look brown by comparison...I also have c-west eyelids and i needed to change my corner bulb back to orange for legal "looking" reasons. So after removing my eyelids i placed them on and off my lights a few times to see the beam pattern. They don't cut anything out from the beam, yet i noticed an extreme reduction in glare firing eyeward as if i was an oncoming car. So for those who have hid's and no eyelids, get em!. Plus the car just looks more angry with them. I will get my buddies digicam and take some pictures soon...so far i am 100% satisfied with my purchase, especially after being ordered on tuesday night and being on my door by friday, just in time for the weekend install.

~Peace
