NASIOC - View Single Post - Trick to removing plug on back of AUX USB port in center console?

I've got a 2013 Subaru Impreza and busted the USB port in the center console, the AUX-USB port. Any replacing it was a doddle right up until it came time to remove the USB plug on the back of the busted port. How does that plug come out? What is the trick that I am missing?
