No, it should not be any less accurate. It is just measuring pressure so flow is not really important. Some actually prefer this type of mounting because it dampens vibration and reduces the chance of sensor damage or the housing cracking. ProSport are usually fine. Until they just so working. Luckily mine havent gotten to that point yet.
