So i'm wondering who has bought a FRONT CLIP, NOT just an engine/trans, and where you got it from and your experience.

Another thing i want opinions on is how to choose a tuner. I'm in the tri-state area, and so far I'm leaning towards The Shop, CT. As of now, my build will be with a 2.5 block with forged internals, and I'm not sure about heads yet. The turbo I already have is a garret GT35r, and I have supporting mods (ECU, FMIC, injectors, FP, etc) So I am now looking for a tuner for some advice and see what they think on my ideas about my build.

Please feel free to leave some advice, anything I get is appreciated.

You said ur getting a ver7 or ver8 front clip, but than you said ur build will be with a 2.5 block. So.... Which one is it, a 207 or a 257? Ver7&8 come with 207's so??? And if you do get a ver8 clip, why would you buy a Garrett, when you have a ihi vf37 twin scroll?!? Garretts are spendy, and since Ud have a fresh turbo to start with, I'd spend that money on a Apexi FC or sumthin! It just sounds like you don't have a clue what ur talking about. You said ur not sure about the heads yet? Uh, well... How bout the heads that come on the engine ur buying!?! And a 207 comes stock with forged internals..Lmao... It seriously just sounds like ur naming parts that you've heard of, but have no idea what they are or do. IDK... Just what it looks like to me, cuz nobody that knows about cars would say what uve said.
