What made you replace the front half shafts?
The two front half shafts had play in them and i had a pair laying around with almost no play. So might as well change them

I didn't really hit any majoy snags tbh.
Parts are a little hard to come by in The Netherlands, so I've imported most parts from the UK and USA.
Almost no BE/BH Outbacks around here (and not very much subies in general).
And my USDM Outback varies slightly from the EUDM Outbacks.
I need some more small optical stuff, but I have to import that too. (I need a coin tray for example, that's missing :P)

I've caught the headgasket just in in time, it was already leaking oil at one side. Took the heads apart, cleaned them, new valveseals, new headgaskets and rebuild the blok with new timing belt, waterpump etc.

Replacing the outback transmission with a 2.5RS transmission was a straight swap, but I've notived that my speedo is off after the swap (Reads 7% LESS than I'm actually going). So i need a VSS adjuster to get the correct speeds and prevent speeding tickets :P

It's a really easy car to work on fortunately. The subaru technicians really thought maintenance through.
