No .. its not.

RX7 IC - Ebay

Saab parts.. those damn things are almost as plentiful in CO as subarus.. Try Mile high in denver. Great people, decent prices... Trust me on this one. My wife is from CO and both of us have owned multiple Saabs... However, I will say, that through experience, I have found that the 900 IC is not the best fit.. and the 9000 IC is wayyyy too big for a soob without some serious modification.

As far as the porsche IC.. sure mang.. whatever works.. as was said before.. its all about what you can make. I have never seen another EA82T with an RX7 IC, but it seemed natural since its made to be a top mount. WRX IC is still probably the best bet.

Any IC will work if you can figure out how to mount it and plumb it. They all work the same (talking air/air ICs.. Air/water ICs are a different story.. but will still work if you know what you are doing)

Remember.. Ebay is your friend

As far as the power light you were referring to.. I have no Idea what you are talking about.. Never seen one of those on an old soob... But then again, if its a 4Speed auto, I have to admit that I never paid any attention. Generally all the 'Power" light means is that there is a controller in the Auto tranny that changes the shift points for economy or power. You will lose this when/ if you add a 5 speed.. obviously

My turbowagon used to be an automatic.. thats the first thing I fixed.. bleh on autos
