The only reason Subaru's make so much more torque than power is because they have a turbo that can push a lot of air in the midrange RPM's and tuner's choose to put in a huge boost peak. Then by the high RPM's (where power would really take off) the turbo is running out of breath so boost drops (and therefore torque and power). If you tuned a flat boost curve it is easily possible to get the numbers you mentioned.

that's wondertasticful but its the exception, not the norm
its still sad that these things give out after 4000 miles at 400lb ft or 335whp or 400 whp with 400 lb ft wtf is the difference..the point is that shouldn't be enough power to require a rebuild of a factory boosted engine..the point has nothing to do with all possible subaru torque to hp ratios.
why don't you go do some nice drag launches with your built tranny..im sure it wont explode or anything
