So I test drove a Model 3 Standard range plus two weeks ago, as well as a Dual Motor. The Tesla showroom (don't have full stores in Michigan because monopoly) was about to close but they gave me a quick ride in a Performance.

I was totally blown away. The standard range plus was a lot of car. It felt quick even with 5 people in it. I was debating between going with the super cheap one (all black, no autopilot, standard range) and going long range dual motor with the blue paint and standard 18" wheels. I ended up going with dual motor. Tomorrow I'm going to go pick it up. I have to drive 4 hours to Cleveland to get it.

The actual buying process has been pretty easy in terms of the steps, but the website is confusing and doesn't give you an overall understanding of how the process works. So if you're used to a normal dealership you get a little confused.

We'll see how it turns out. I can Level-2 charge for free at work, and my current V8 daily is costing me $200 a month in gas, so that somewhat offsets the car payment on a $50k vehicle.
