Meh, I think it's whatever suites your comfort or style man.
Everyone has a take on various boards. Possibly due to various styles.
I say whatever you dig on that allows you to open up and shred man.

Returned back to the cascades to blue skies.
Instead of pulling my normal solo riding I took my kid out and spent today showing him tree lines (not his normal thing). He ended up with grins all day, learned how to pump through powey sections to keep speed. He started picking better lines to help him sustain speed. He is a skier so he doesn't have to think about that as much as us. But I think he saw how I pumped and ride the mt differently.
It was pretty awesome seeing him on stoke.
