After searching, I can't find quite exactly what I'm looking for. Basically, I want to go Stage 2 with my AcessPORT, but I want to avoid making my exhaust louder than stock, if at all. My parameters are fairly simple:
- The muffler must be a Prodrive WRSport. I had one on my old car and nothing compares to it.
- The exhaust must contain at least one catalytic converter
- I would prefer that the whole thing look relatively close to stock.
So with those parameters in mind, here's what I see as my options:
- TurboXS Stealthback + Prodrive WRSport
- MadDad Stealthback + Prodrive WRSport
- COBB TBE - COBB muffler + Prodrive WRSport
Now, according to those options I see pros and cons to each of them. The TXS Stealthback has a great reputation, but the DP is gigantic and doesn't look close to stock at all. The MadDad is a great piece of metal, but it just doesn't carry that "brand name" appeal as the rest; though I've heard nothing but good comments from those who have bought these products. The COBB piece is my most favored, but I don't know if it's particularly known for being quiet plus I will have to buy the full TBE and then sell the muffler. It's extra time, money, and hassle, but I can justify paying extra for quality and R&D.
So what would my best bet be in terms of volume?
