Get access to a lift. I used to do mine at my friends car dealership he worked at. It made it soooo much easier. I would spray it down with some degreaser, let it sit for about 10 minutes, then go to town with the pressure washer. Of course I would also regrease my bushings while I was under there.

If you can't get access to a lift, maybe try 4 jacks (borrow some) and jack it up as high as it will go. That should be high enough to get under there (don't go all the way under, I'd hate to have the jacks fail on you and crush you.
