Default Dear Mr Singer

My wife and I go shopping for a Subaru. We go to Singer becuase they have a few cars on their web site we were interested in. I had read this post before I went there, but kept an open mind.
Everything was going good, no complaints. Salesman was overly friendly if anything. We got in to pricing on the car and we were a few dollars off. We where on a budget and we where being firm with it.
Now, I am not going to tell you I was upset becuase we couldn't agree on a price for this car, but more of what happened. The salesman calls me up the day after we left the dealership and asks me where we were in price, I told him we went up a little for yesterday. Blah blah.. We were still some what off on price. So he says he is going to see what he can do for me and call me back. He hangs up with me and calls my wife and starts trying to sell her at the price we discussed the day we looked at the car, which was too high for us. This made me real mad, and my wife was uncomfortable with it too. A very low sales move.
Later that night, the sales manager calls me to further discuss price, and I dropped all the info and research I had on the car. . I understand a dealship can't lose money on a car, and if it is out of our range tell me and we can move on. I asked for proof of what they paid for it, and I was going to make a offer based on that. She tells me she is going to look into it and get back to me.
Two days later and I never heard back from either of them!
Bottom line, I knew too much and I wasn't an easy sale so they didnt want to bother with me. Its too bad, they had a bunch of nice cars too.
So Mr Singer, I ask you to defend this posting as well!
I strongly reccommend Concord, Exeter and Belknap! Great sales help. The guy in Cocord straight out told me he couldn't met our buget (for a specific car), I appreciate that.
