The only reason I like the 22T block is because it's kinda old-school and rare which makes it sort of cool but not a real reason to run one. It's a bit more displacement than the 205 of course. It's nice that it's closed deck and all but my power levels don't need it. Oil squirters are kinda cool but it's debatable if they offer any advantage. Plus they get clogged and fall out if you don't lock tite them. OP if you run a 22T get a set of new squirters or check your's to make sure they open at the correct psi.

If I went back and did it again I'd just go with a 2.5 block. But I found my 22T filled with water under a tarp and went for it lol. I've had about 8 or 9 of them over the years haha. Sold most of them to some nutballs in the UK.
