Are you going to TIG the manifold just as it is now? I think it will be a nightmare to get into some of those tight spaces... If it were me I would have TIG'd the collector entirely at first, then each of the 4 "up-pipes" individually then weld one by one to the collector after ensuring fitment is still perfect.. Good luck! Can't wait to see how it turns out...

yes i will be "boxing out" the cross member... and actually welding up the mani wasnt as bad as i thought it would be.. got about 75%done when mocked on the motor then pulled it off and mounted it on a jig to position on my vice and popped off 2 runner finished welding the remainder and welded the other 2 runners back on.. glad it worked out fairly easily cause i was worried id have a real hard time.. i'll get pics up 2morrow night
