How do you know it's not a bad batch of gas? Just because you "switched back" to a 93 grade does not mean you do not have a bad batch of gas.
And if it was a bad batch of gas, the CEL would not just automatically disappear like magic just because you went up to a higher grade fuel.

Because it popped with e85 and not 93, and we sucked the e85 out and put 93 in, cleared the code, and it came back on after 2 seconds once we started the car again. Magic would be nice
As for fuel filter, never, its a 2016 with 10k miles.
