Called the tow truck.

No feedback or fine knock warnings prior to being towed. Turbo was still spooling and sounded fine.

Possibly my oil catch can is overfull? Turbo oil return somehow pinched off?

Just trying to get an idea of what I should be doing. Fly back to the car with a spare turbo and a tool kit? Or something more serious.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

I'm 1200kms away from the car now back home
I would expect that if you where getting liquid oil out of the exhaust that it would have to be something with the turbo oil / return. I find it unlikely even large amounts of blow by would cause an issue like this. If your catch can was full the oil would have to survive the combustion process and the trip through the hot exhaust and turbo.
