Yea, I'm actually in CT, but driving in Mass can be insane. It leaves an impression. I think I was on I-495 a while ago, and I was going 70ish and being passed by people obviously going 80 or better. So I kicked it up to 80 and was STILL being passed, but at least I didn't feel like a gimpy fish about to get picked out of the school. Same thing happens on a lot of highways, I'm sure, but Mass always frightens me.
In CT, I typically stay east of Hartford on I-84. That's comparatively a pretty timid stretch of highway.
Dangerous? Hell yea. But like you said, if you're going to go 65 on some of these highways, you'd best be in a semi or something that is very easily noticed.
