It is somewhat frustrating for me to have waited this long and not know if my car has even been built yet, or if its on a truck headed to my dealership. I understand that SOA and its handlers move an immense amount of vehicles (I'm in the cargo business, I truly can appreciate its challenges), but I feel fairly certain that each vehicle is tracked, maybe not to the extent of a UPS of FedEx package, but at least enough to let me know that the vehicle is on US soil. If this isn't something that SOA is capable of right now, maybe its something that should be looked into as a way of improving the buying experience (I've had almost no buying experience since I placed the order 3 months ago because there has been almost zero flow of information from the dealer to me). Again, I do appreciate you looking into this for me and just want to offer some honest feedback. Thank you.
Get a VON (Vehicle Order Number) from your dealer, then call 1-800-SUBARU3 to check the status. I'm wondering if your dealer never ordered it and was instead counting on getting one in. If it was ordered, it has a VON. Good luck.
