Ah.. Hadn't seen that part of Enginuity. I'll go have a closer peek at it.
There might not be enough overlap though. JDash is being designed primarily for sensor display within a CarPC. And, JDash will be fully skinnable. It's logging capabilitys come 2nd. Plus, JDash will, in the end, support OBD-I, OBD-II, ElmScan and any other interface I can get my hands on. But.. I'll still have to look closer at Enginuitys logger.
As for 2 projects with the same mission.. It's not really a waste of my time. 1, I'm learning some good new stuff with Java. 2. competition is good.
