I disable closed-loop and scale the MAF for idle, cruise, mild acceleration, and wastegate boost, usually in that order. Then I turn up the boost a couple psi at a time.
It's important to check low-load AFR errors at low boost and wastegate boost periodically as you're turning up the boost, and after you've got full boost working well. You may run into issues where the same MAFv has different AFR errors at different RPM, due to quirks of the fuel injectors and/or fuel rails. The "Engine Load Compensation (MP)" table can be used to dial those out.

Currently suffering from other weird idle issues (made a new thread), I think its injector related. Thanks for the tips, will try them out as soon as I figure out why my idle is wonky at times.
