I'm putting this up to show the amount of work that went into this engine bay over the course of the last few years. This is one of those "saving a Bugeye" stories that took an excessive amount of time and effort. All work done by myself in the garage.

Step one: Relocation of battery (bolted through the trunk with distribution box and in-line breaker, 0 gauge wire, enclosed battery box), relocation of fuse box, boost control solenoid, DRLs, windshield wiper fluid, and other random wires.

Step two: Extension and rerouting of engine wiring harness (60/40 Rosin Core and a good amount of patience)

Step three: Grind out old rusty sheet metal from under battery box. Grind out all brackets built into the engine bay structure on the driver's side.

Step four: Cut new sheet metal for sides and bottom of engine bay. Put in new sheet metal, find and/or shave all holes and imperfections.

Step five: Sand down everything, remove everything from the engine bay possible, prime, and paint.
