I speak from experience, ask any of the old timers if a bad tune can cause spun bearings. They can and will cause it.

The lack of lubrication is BECAUSE OF the bearing spun or vice versa. Yes, some kind of obstruction to that bearing could have caused that bearing to spin as well , I'm just saying a bad tune can also cause this. Cracked ringlands and piston failures are more due to too much load or simply hardware failure not so much a tune. I'm just saying more often than not, spun bearings are a result of a bad tune. Ask anyone (or old timers like davenow, etc..) that have been around subbies for a long time.
