Default HID Question

So I got a kit off of xenoneyes.com and here is my issue,

I tested the ballasts before I hooked them into the main car wiring and they fired on fine, here is my issue.

When I connect them into the factor wiring so they turn on when I turn my headlights on I get no voltage to the units them self when the headlights are turned on. I have a light thing that lights up if there is a hot feed there wasn't so stumped I threw the stock bulb back in and it worked fine, I though I might of blew something when I connected the HID.

Well here is my question why am I not getting power to the HID when it is connected directly to the H1 hook up positive and negative.

Is this a relay issue since the HID draws less then a factory halogen unit?

I couldn't figure it out for the life of me so I just am running them off of a switch in the cabin it self I would like to use the factory switch location though because that just makes it easier.

I figured one of you guys could figure out something for me since it has me stumped.
