I have looked into if the damage to my inlet wheel will cause further damage to the turbo/engine and it appears as far a Garrets turbo is concerned this type of damage is nothing to get too worried about.

The "solution" will be to replace the filter and protect or move it at the same time.

I also was provided with examples of cars that have had a Garret with much more chipping/dings in the same way and in those situations it never became an issue.

So my game plan will be to leave that alone for now and focus on the oil leak/fuel system to keep life as far as this car is concerned simple. I figure when I do mess with this turbo I will go v-band so will end up digging into a much much larger project because of that and do not currently have the funds after my recent car purchase.

So stay tuned for some uninteresting projects in the mean time. LOL
