abnd i do have one problem with the STi. why did subaru not use an FMIC. the whole point of an intercooler is to keep everythign cool. in grade school everyoen learned that heat rises, so the colder air is at the bottom, which is why most intercoolers are front mounted. this is definately a negative for the STi. they ,meanign subaru, based this car off their rally car, which may i add has a FMIC. it seems that subaru loved the massive hoodscope so they wanted it to have some purpose besides lookin ugly as feces.
The TMIC has been used by Subaru for many many years on WRX's worldwide. Why change a tried, tested and proven setup? Yes a FMIC has some advantages but so does a TMIC. (That topic has been beat up and put away)

Personally, FMIC looks cool but I'm more for the total package. The TMIC seems to be helping the turbo/engine produce 300 HP and 300 lbs.torque....which is great for me
