Oh I'll be the first to admit power was definitely a big factor in my choice. No arguments there. As for style I think the new mustangs are gorgeous though that is of course subjective. Have you looked at a premium gt's interior? It's actually pretty nice with the leather seats and other nicer looking trim pieces over the base. I just couldn't justify the price difference.
The mustang def. loses again in the weight department but that was something I was willing to deal with as it wasn't too much heavier than my STi was.
Go drive a new GT and take her on a twisty road. I think you'll be pretty surprised at how well she handles for how much of a fat ass she has lol.
