Well crap. The driver's side belt locked up in the track again. The damn seatbelt warning light on the dashboard stays lit and flashes all the time now. This is the 2nd time this year that I'll have to tear it apart and find a usable replacement. I really want a set of manual belts from a Canadian car so I can get rid of these wonderful things once and for all.
That sucks. The Corrado's did that just a couple months ago (it's 21 years young). I wound up taking off the interior trim, disconnecting all sensors, power and removed the relay for the auto belts. since the cable had kinked and wasn't retracting correctly. I then manually moved the drivers side to the full back/locked position. With all connections and the main relay removed, the passenger side automatically went to the full back/locked position, so now I am running quasi manual belts.
