Default USDM Cam position sensor incompatability with JDM EJ205?

Swapping JDM EJ205 w/AVCS into my 06' Bajar turbo due to EJ255 burned valves. I followed alot of advice in different places to include the company that sold me the motor: "Use your USDM intake with wire ha'rness, and USDM downpipe with sensor on the JDM engine. It will bolt in run with no codes."

Problem: It misses at part throttle and gives CPS codes. I had to use the CPS's from the USDM ej255 as the JDM CPS's are 2 wire not 3 wire and won't plug in. Another thread suggests installing the USDM camshafts with the currect "sensor interface bump" on the cam for the USDM sensor.........I really don't wan't to pull the engine to do this. I want to invest as little time and money as possible to recoup value from this car when I sell it.

Can I unplug AVCS and CPS all together and have it run without codes? Is there another way around this problem?
All help appreciated.
