According to the ’89 FSM:

Thermoswitch On = 199 to 207F Differential = 9 to 16F

Another thing I noted is that the turbo cars with the auto trans have a more powerful electric fan motor, 140W vs. 120W (turbo A/T cars also have the “all metal” dual core radiator).

I thought that the fan came on with the A/C, but I just went and check it on my ’87 RX and no fan with A/C on, but maybe my fans broke … I’ll see if I can confirm later.
