Highly recommend you just swallow your nerves and hit the CF gym. Almost everyone in the community is welcoming and supportive, especially of beginners. You'll get close guidance and information as well as a trained eye watching you when you lift.

CF doesn't generally do targeted lifting, like triceps or curls. It's about Olympic lifting which utilizes multiple muscle groups for the movement. has workouts as well as explanations of all the moves.

But again... go to the gym!
