If I am low on a fluid, what and did I add.
When I do an oil change, I list the weight.
When I do a gas fill, I also do the MPG so I can track how the engine is running. I also add if it's a tank pulling a trailer to show why it may be lower.

This way, if I go to a dealer, I can pull the book out and show everything that was done.
Never had an issue with them relating to me doing work.
I use an app on my phone called Drivvo. I use that to keep track of gas fills. I input odometer reading, station location, grade of gas, price per gallon, and gallons filled. It will automatically keep track of MPG and has a bunch of other features. It also will auto-input gas station location if you've been there before. Great way to keep track of mileage and also gas station location of stations where you've found notable gas (good or bad).
