Gas only last so long until you need a new truck delivery. Solar is available everyday, even if it's cloudy. Plus, if you are saying gas stations are the way to refuel, then charging stations are the equivalent, so only they would need solar/battery storage, not homes/apartments. But we know you can have both, with investment in infrastructure.

I hear you overall. EV currently is not attainable for everyone. However, give it time. Cars and gas stations took time to trickle down to the masses. I don't have solar/battery storage...someday.
