So a date was set with Zak and we decided to go and see what the car was doing and how well it was doing it.
We soon found that due to me still on the stock fuel pump the car was detting after 5500rpm. This was quickly sorted by the fitment of a Warlboro 255LPH Motorsport pump.
With a few tweeks to the map, this was the cars first Delta Dash road dyno. As you can see in stock form (RED) we had to cap it due to the det. With the fitment of the new pump Zak worked his magic on the map and we saw a good solid 275bhp at the wheels.

So now I knew what i was up against. I decided that to get off on the best foot i was going to swap the 2.5" dia Hayward & Scott system for a full 3" system. This would ensure the car could make its best power.
I had Hayward & Scott make a bespoke 3" system. It was notoriously loud but had to do.

So on that went.

Now the car was due to go on its first outing to the Nurburgring en route to Germany WRC. I decided that i didnt need the rear interior for the trip so promptly whipped it out and threw in some Safety Devices harness's for good measure.

AndIt was in this guise that it attended it first show. This was at JAE in the summer of 2006.

Her first time though those elusive barriers on the Nordschleife

On return from Germany, these were waiting for me. Speedline Turini 18x8.
