45-55 is such i small difference you wont notice it at all....

the DCCD adjust the lock on the center dif
from what i understand if it is unlocked or "loser" you get better traction but sacrifice the the horsepower getting to the wheels it slips more and transfers power to wheels that are getting good traction while it is locked well its locked and all four will spin at the same rate
thats my understanding of the system
the only thing dccd does is give you the option to do it manually instead of the car doing it
