Default Killer B Motorsport Performance Radiator for 2015+ WRX

For now this review is just on quality and fitment as I have not had any track days since install. Should that happen, I will update.

Quick background:
I tried the Koyo Racing Radiator a while back and had serious fitment issues with factory fan and shroud. It required a slim fan. I learned that the slim fan with no shroud was no Bueno. I found a slim fan with shroud, but decided not to go that route.

I stayed with factory radiator/fans/shrouds for cooling until I got a sleeved block. The sleeved block gets a little bit hotter than the factory block. I already had a Perrin thermostatic oil cooler. I contemplated upgrading the oil cooler but was advised by some with a lot more experience to upgrade my radiator cooling.

This is where the KB unit came into play. It is (this may be an exaggeration...but) only millimeters thicker than the factory unit. You can read all about the core on the KB site.

Previously, I had chosen to swap my Grimmspeed Charge Pipe for a Perrin Charge Pipe for clearance. The GS pipe's rubber coupler is close to the factory fan motor, and moving that fan any closer would be an issue IMHO. The Perrin pipe with factory radiator had visibly more space.

Still, when the KB radiator was installed, the Perrin pipe had to be pushed further in toward the GS TMIC, but it all worked out well.

My installer was very impressed with quality, welds and fitment. In his opinion, the $1500 price was on par with the radiator he got for his race truck.
