I have received a couple PM's on what to do about the hyper flash situation when you change your lights over to LED. Since I have changed over my front turn signals to LED I was extremely frustrated with the hyper flash and was about to order the resistors to stop this from happening.

The reason for the hyper flash is that the stock bulbs pull a lot more resistance to flash then LED's. When you remove the OEM bulbs and replace them with LED's, the integrated circuit flash relay looks for this resistance to flash properly. Since the LED have a much lower resistance, you get hyper flash.

To resolve this you have two choices. You can add resistance to the circuit by adding 50w, 6-ohm resistors across each bulb circuit. This will add the proper amount of resistance to the circuit to make your blinkers flash normally again. http://www.amazon.com/Resistors-Signal-License-Warning-Cancellor/dp/B004EDF8HY are the resistors for this.

The second option is to change over the OEM flasher to one that is made for the lower LED resistance. I have found one being sold by FastWRX.com for $19 found (HERE) or if you are crafty like me you can use my part number below and link to purchase the flasher on Amazon for $10.

The installation takes about 2 minutes and it works great. It's designed for 4 LED's but you can use this with only 2 LEDs if that's all you have. The only difference is that when you turn on your signal, the bulb will illuminate for 1 second than start to flash like normal.

Here is the flasher I used.
