Default EJ20X Swap Help!

Hello all! I have a 2012 WRX Hatch that spun a rod bearing and sent metal shards frickin everywhere. I decided to put in a EJ20X Longblock because it was the cheaper route, so i thought at least.

So here's the issue.

I got the ej20X small block and heads, took everything else off my EJ255 and put it on top of the ej20X including my crank sensor and both cam sensors, new timing kit & gaskets.

It keeps tossing code P0018 "Cam sensor bank 2" this is driving me crazy! I got a brand new timing pulleys and belt timed right. So i thought maybe the sensors dont talk to my ecu right. so i put my ej255 crank and cam sensors on it. that did not stop the code.

Its very strange the car seems to run ok besides the extremely low boost, maybe its a fail safe because there is a problem?

So basically to sum it up.

swapped ej255 for ej20X put all my parts on the long block.
Car seems to run ok except for the no boost and the P0018 code.
Replaced timing pulleys and belt, crank, and cam sensors.
when i clear the code it will not come back on unless the car sits and idles for 10 minutes. i can drive it on the freeway and the code never comes on, only when i stop.

I'm bad at explaining things so bare with me!
