Has anyone installed an electric gauge? Would rather not run a mechanical one.
I wont be buying one for a while. My car only has 14k on it so i have a little time to save up and do my research Im not sure if you want to mount it that high near the information center. Since this has custom alarms on it you dont need it in your line of sight you would mount it down in the open area near the gear shift and keep an eye on it occasionally.


How does it hook up? im sure 12v from the fuse box then route the temp wire to the engine block. Then add the button to your controls. It monitors actual engine block temp vs water temp. I kind of like the idea since you wont have to tap into a wet area and potentially have another place to leak from. As long as you have a baseline for the block temp you should know when things start to overheat


The OBDII wont work for me because my valentine 1 is hooked up from that port.
